Similar to other disciplines,sex education should start young with age-appropriate basic information that builds over time (such as names of body parts, friendship, and limits). It ought to emphasise inclusiveness and equity while also being anti-racist and trauma-aware. Young people need and deserve the chance to examine their sexual, identity, and relationship values and beliefs while also learning how to negotiate relationships and take control of their own sexual health.
